Are you a talent agency?No. We're a training program. We don't sign performers or take commission on bookings. The agents, managers, and casting directors who attend our showcases come as guests — and any marketing our team does afterward is effort on your behalf, not a promise of representation.
Do I need to audition to start?Yes. Every Acting 101 seat begins with a short live Zoom audition with a coach. No prior experience is required, since it's a match viability conversation. Advancement past Acting 101 into Level II and Level III is a separate, later step, earned through coach recommendation based on real performance in class.
Is this in person or online?Everything runs live over Zoom. Real-time, coached classes, never pre-recorded, so students anywhere in the world can join without travel.
What ages do you train?Ages 6 through 35, grouped by age band so students are learning alongside peers at a similar stage.
Do you accept everyone?No. We look for with passion and talent. We want our potential students to have the drive and ability to take their talent further than just our acting classes.
How is this different from a local acting class or a big-city talent agency?A local class typically won't offer access to LA industry guests. A talent agency doesn't train you. Many won't even meet with you until you already have credits or representation-ready material. We sit in between: real coaching first, with an earned path to real industry access, without needing to live in or travel to LA.
How long is the audition?No. We accept students at every experience level, from complete beginners to kids who've been performing for years. We're evaluating readiness and fit, not polish.
Does everyone reach the showcase?No, and that's by design. Roughly half to two-thirds of Acting 101 students are invited to advance. The rest leave with real training, better technique, and a clearer sense of where they stand - which we consider a legitimate outcome on its own, not a failure.
Do I need a parent or guardian?If you are under 18, yes. Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian with them at auditions. Plus, we want parents involved!
Is this a pay-to-play showcase?We understand why the question comes up. This industry has a real reputation problem with programs that charge families a lot of money for a room full of "industry professionals" who never follow up. Here's how we're structured differently: Acting 101 is training first, with no promise of a showcase attached to the tuition. Only students who progress and are invited to Level III perform for industry guests, and we're upfront that advancement isn't guaranteed or automatic.

What do I need technically?A computer or tablet with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet, well-lit space to join us on Zoom.
What type of talent are you looking for? We look for personality, a marketable look, and talent that is directable and coachable. For talent under 18, we love supportive Parents.
Since we work internationally with Agents, Managers and Casting Directors, we recognize there are trends in talent types - just like trends in fashion. We aim to take advantage of every opportunity talent is in demand.
How do I prepare for my audition?Once you sign up, we'll send you a confirmation link with everything you need, including four short scripts to choose from. Pick one and come prepared to recite it, along with being ready to talk with us about your interest in acting.
What happens if I'm not accepted?Not every audition is the right fit at that moment, and that's okay. We'll let you know, and you're welcome to reapply for a future audition date — many students who audition again later are accepted the second time around.
