In the room: Slating, auditioning, callbacks, and set etiquette
On your feet: Improv to sharpen your instincts
Your coaches: A kick-off Master Class with Diana Horner, Industry Intensives, and small classes with individual direction
The finish: A live Zoom showcase for an agent, manager, and/or casting director
After you graduate: Our directors market you with your headshots, reels, and scene clips to help you pursue representation and bookings, and we stay on as your resource for professional advice.
Meet your Coaches
Diana Horner
Diana Horner created the LA-based coaching system NPA uses today, built on more than 40 years as a model, actor, voice-over artist, and producer, with credits in national commercials, film, television, and fashion shows for Seventeen, Mademoiselle, and Brides. Her teaching has earned multiple Educational Excellence Awards and two International Lifetime Achievement Awards.
She started out shy and unsure of herself, so she coaches every performer the way she once needed to be coached: with patience, honesty, and real technique.
Andrea Geones
Andrea Geones has worked as a professional actor in Los Angeles for over 15 years. She voiced Bridget on Resident Alien (Syfy/USA Network), with additional credits on Tiny Beautiful Things (Hulu) and Chucky (Syfy). She coaches toward real, repeatable technique - and the moment it finally clicks.
Don't Just Take Our Word For It
Hear what real students of National Performers Academy say about training with us.
We’re here for your success.
“I wanted to be an actor, I didn’t think it was possible. And this MADE it possible.
And the people I met thought it? It just made it better.”
Sierra Rose, NPA Grad“I look at my auditions before I joined NPA and now, and my auditions have gone up by 100%”
Hannah Urgino, NPA Grad“NPA is definitely something I would recommend to any of my friends in the industry. Especially those of us who are starting out, and those of us who are in parts of the country that aren’t ‘showbiz cities’.”
Katherine Floyd, NPA Grad
What We Can (and Can't) Promise You
We can't tell you the agents in that room sign you on the spot, nobody honest can promise that. What we can tell you: you'll show up fully prepared, with real material behind you, and a real shot with real casting directors and agents who are there to see YOU.
What happens after that is up to your work.

Yes. NPA’s coaches are working industry professionals (see their credits above), and we’re upfront about what we can’t promise: no one can guarantee representation or bookings. What we guarantee is the training, the coaching, and your showcase seat.
-
Your first payment, or full payment, reserves your place. Classes are kept small, so spots are held in the order they’re secured.

$800 for all 12 weeks, or 5 payments of $180 every two weeks. Paying in full saves $100. Coaching, materials, and your showcase seat are included.

We look for personality, a marketable look, and talent that is directable and coachable. For talent under 18, we love supportive Parents.
Since we work internationally with Agents, Managers and Casting Directors, we recognize there are trends in talent types - just like trends in fashion. We aim to take advantage of every opportunity talent is in demand.
-
Live on Zoom, once a week for 90 minutes, [day] at [time + time zone]. All you need is a computer or tablet with a camera and a quiet space.
-
[Recordings available? Make-up session? Say exactly what happens.]
-
[Parent/guardian present for students under X? Class recordings, supervision, who’s in the room. Be specific; this is the question parents most want answered and least want to ask.]
-
No. The program is built for beginners and for performers who’ve done some work but need direction. We will teach you how to take your own headshots!
-
[State it plainly. Hiding or blurring this costs more sales than any policy does.]
