We train performers that become stars.

Our Approach

Co-Founded by Diana Horner, National Performers Academy has nearly five decades of experience at the forefront of performer training. The method isn't new; it's been refined, tested, and updated since 1977. What's never changed is the philosophy behind it: performers need consistent coaching, honest feedback, and a path that's earned, not bought.

Zoom Based

Today we run three levels of live, Zoom-based classes for performers ages 6-35, from a first-timer's foundations class all the way to an invitation-only showcase in front of LA agents, managers, and casting directors. No level skips ahead of the last one. No student is promised representation, but we do give you the skills and opportunity to earn it. What every student gets is real coaching, real feedback, and an honest read on where they stand.

Intentional Training

We built it this way on purpose. This industry has a well-earned reputation for showcases that charge students and families a lot of money for a room full of "industry professionals" who never call back. We'd rather be the program that tells you the truth about the industry. Our program sets you up for success, not failure.

Don’t just take our word for it…

Coaches that work in the industry, not just around it.

Every coach is currently active in casting, representation, or production. Our coaches are working in the very industry you’re training to join.

  • "Our coach gave notes I still use at auditions two years later. That mattered more than the showcase itself."

    — Parent, Acting 101 graduate

  • "I came back to acting at 27 after a decade away. Acting 101 didn't treat me like a beginner or a hobbyist. It just met me where I was."

    — Adult student, Acting 101 graduate

  • "I finally understood what a callback room actually feels like, before I ever walked into a real one."

    — Performer, age 15

  • “This really gave us a really good idea of what the industry would actually be like."

    — Parent of Performer, Age 11

Ready to audition?

We're selective by design. Acting 101 starts with a live audition, not a signup form. We only accept applicants that are the right fit. We want to make sure it’s a match for both of us.
